Gold coins, diving suits and more this week on Catawiki (June 30 - July 6)

Taking a look at the This Week's Best Auctions On Catawiki, we have found one of numismatics where they stand out two very special coins. Furthermore, a curious russian diver suit mid-20th century, a great selection of gemstones and meteorites and a Dutch figurehead that we're sure will catch your eye.

There are also some featured objects in the curiosities section, where we highlight two «Memento mori“Both are very strange, but we are sure that you will want to know more about it.

Maritime items

Today we bring a new section: Maritime items, where we can find hundreds of objects of great interest, but there are two that have caught our attention and we are sure that you too.

On the one hand a russian depth diver suit from the mid-20th century of 1.90 meters and 140 kg that includes the suit, the diving suit, the lead, lantern and shoes in very good condition. Only two pieces are missing that are very easy to find: the knives and the belts.

The second object is a Dutch figurehead from the 19th century, in very old hardwood but in good condition (according to age). Its dimensions are 160cm high, 30cm deep (abdomen) and 25cm wide and it weighs approximately 45 kgs.

In the Natural History section, today we find a large number of interesting objects, where a Lunar meteorite found in 2013 in northwest Africa, which includes its certificate of authenticity, and a piece of the Pallasite meteorite found in Kenya in 2016 whose sides are mirror polished and also includes certificate of authenticity

In the new section of Numismatics we found two coins that are really interesting: one Pedro II gold coin of 20,000 reis (Brazil) very scarce, and one from Al Andalus, a gold Dinar from Al Hakam.

In the section of Curiosities, in addition to a celestial globe representing the zodiac, we found two other very strange objects that will pique your interest. They are two «Memento Mori», the first of them, a job made of hair and framed from France about 1880 in very good condition overall.

On the other hand,an Austrian bone and wood ossuary from the 19th century in very good general condition. A wooden shrine with 5 glass-protected bone skulls 9 cm high, 8.2 cm wide and 3 cm deep.
